The tour starts with a road transfer from the Victoria Falls Airport to Old Drift Lodge, where the tranquil sounds of the Zambezi set the perfect tone for the rest of your stay. After a warm welcome, you’ll have time to settle into your luxurious tented suite. The suite has spectacular river views and a private deck with a plunge pool, the ideal place to soak in the African sunset.
In the late afternoon, you’ll be taken on a river safari along the Zambezi, gliding through calm waters as you watch elephants, hippos, and crocodiles gather at the banks. As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll enjoy a sundowner drink and light snacks, followed by an exquisite dinner back at the lodge.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading out for a guided tour of the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Known as “The Smoke That Thunders,” this natural wonder is a breathtaking sight, with cascading water plunging into the gorge below. You can feel the mist on your skin as you explore the best viewpoints and take the most amazing photos.
After the tour, you can indulge in a scenic lunch at the Lookout Café, which has been built on the edge of the Batoka Gorge. From the Café, you will see the most stunning views of the Zambezi River. After lunch, you’ll return to Old Drift Lodge for a relaxing afternoon, or you can choose from a range of included activities, such as a walking safari or a game drive.
As the evening sets in, you and other guests can gather around the firepit for pre-dinner drinks, sharing stories of the day’s adventures, before tucking into another delicious meal.

You’ll wake up to the golden light of the African sunrise and, after a snack, set off on a morning activity of your choice. You can explore the wilderness on an open-vehicle game drive, tracking elephants, buffalos, and even lions in Zambezi National Park or for a more intimate experience, you can join a guided walking safari, where you’ll learn about the flora, fauna, and animal tracks from your expert guide.
After a leisurely brunch back at the lodge, you can have a relaxed afternoon before heading out for one final adventure of your choice. Whether it’s another river safari, a game drive, or simply unwinding with a book in your private plunge pool, this is your time to soak in the last moments of your safari.
In the evening, you’ll toast to your final night in the wild with cocktails at sunset, followed by a memorable dinner.
After a relaxed breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Old Drift Lodge. A scheduled road transfer will take you back to the Victoria Falls Airport.
