Guides stop at local rest camps and picnic spots for breakfast and lunch. Most lodges offer breakfast packs with their accommodation and one can purchase a coffee or tea at breakfast. For lunch stops, one can choose from a variety of dishes on the menu at a rest camp cafe or restaurant. Most will cater to almost all client dietary requirements. There is also a curio shop for some quick shopping before you continue with your Kruger safari. For the rest of your safari, your guide will choose the best areas depending on the time of the year. Early morning drives are best for spotting predators, while afternoon game drives are ideal for plains game sightings.
Our guides are all qualified and have years’ worth of experience guiding clients through the park. They love nothing more than to share their knowledge with our guests and to make sure that you have the best safari experience possible.
Please bring sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months. Mineral waters are included on all safaris.
Guides are limited to 10 hours a day, including a breakfast and lunch stop, but this is ample time to explore vast areas of the park.
