We will head straight to a lodge in Hazyview, with an estimated arrival time between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and head off to the Kruger National Park for a 3 Day safari.
After reaching our rest camp, we will have lunch, followed by check-in for your 2-night stay.
Later in the day, we will set out on an afternoon safari before returning for dinner and gearing up for the adventures ahead.
(Breakfast & Dinner Included – Lunch at own account)
Our safari begins just before sunrise as we enter the park at dawn. Throughout the day, we will stop at a variety of waterholes, scenic lookout points, and rivers. Breakfast will be enjoyed at a local rest camp at around 11:00 am, after which the adventure continues. In the early afternoon, we will return to the rest camp, with enough time for a swim or to enjoy some relaxation before lunch. Lunch will be at your own expense at the rest camp.
The afternoon safari departs at approximately 15:00, with each day’s journey focusing on different areas of the park. This increases your chances of encountering wildlife you have not seen yet and allows you to enjoy a full, unrushed Kruger experience.
The southern region of the Kruger receives more rainfall than other parts of the park, making it lush and full of rivers and dams. This area is famous for having some of the best opportunities to spot leopards and it is also the prime location for rhino sightings.
Other special wildlife to watch for in the Southern Kruger includes wild dogs and elephants.
No Safari is ever the same and each day is exciting and will offer different sightings and experiences.
(Breakfast)
Today, we drive south towards Hazyview, where you will catch your transfer back to Johannesburg.
We will start early, bringing your luggage along as we enjoy a 4–5-hour safari, giving you another chance to spot wildlife you might have missed during the previous game drives.
The drive to Johannesburg will take 5-6 hours, so we recommend spending the night there. Alternatively, you can opt for a return flight to Johannesburg from either Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) or Skukuza Airport, both with departures around 1 pm daily.
