Why is the Kruger National Park a Digital Nomad’s Paradise?

Digital nomads really live the dream. With jobs that allow them to work from anywhere, they have the freedom of moving from one place to the next, earning their full income while getting to see and stay in some of the most beautiful places in the world. With the right paperwork in place and all of the admin out of the way, there is nothing quite as exciting as jumping on a plane and heading to some of the most exotic destinations around the world, many of which include some really fascinating places just waiting to be explored.

Although it might not be ideal for a long term stay, in that the idea about being a digital nomad is that you travel on a budget and while staying in the Kruger is going to cost you a lot more than another destination, it is still a perfect place to spend some time working while also going on safari drives and enjoying all of the incredible sightings that this beautiful wildlife destination has to offer.

Why the Kruger?

Africa is the best place in the world to go on a safari. In fact, it is the only place in the world where you will be able to see the diverse wildlife populations of Africa roaming freely all across the absolutely stunning African landscape.

For this reason, and many others, it is easy to see why so many people choose Africa as a holiday destination. And of all the many exciting places that offers guests a safari, the Kruger is the best place to go, especially if the guest is travelling as a digital nomad.

Many of the great wildlife parks of Africa are rather more remote and rustic than the Kruger, which means for the digital nomad, there is a chance that internet access won’t always be available or reliable. Naturally, as a digital nomad, you need to have the web to send through whatever work it is that you are doing, so this is one requirement that will be high up on your list of priorities when choosing a destination and the places you will be staying in.

The Kruger, when compared to other parks in Africa, is a lot more modern and as such most of the camps and lodges within the park have reliable internet accessibility and other amenities. The park is also a great option for the digital nomad because the park is so large and there is so much to explore that when you move from one destination to the next, the scenery changes to such an extent that it is almost as though you have to a whole new place altogether.

If you don’t want to stay within the park for the duration of your holiday, you can choose to stay in one of the lodges close to the park, where you can once again look forward to a good internet connection and a whole lot of comfort.
