2023 Travel Goals

As the end of March fast approaches, and three months of the year have gone by in a blur, tourists are starting to prepare for the best time of the year to travel to Africa; winter. It is the one season that sees the most visitors to safari destinations, such as the Kruger National Park, and since 2023 is such a special year for travelling, you might be keen to learn more about what is making it onto everyone else’s #travelgoalsof2023 list.

There is no doubt that the travel industry looks a whole lot different to what it did just a few short years ago, and it is not just the way that we travel that has changed, but also where we choose to go. New places are gaining popularity over the old and more over the top kinds of destinations, and people are committing themselves to a more local experience, rather than travelling to far flung destinations.

While there are no right or wrong places to have a holiday, and while you don’t have to go where everyone else is going, you can be inspired by the travel goals of others when you are looking for a superb place to have that once in a lifetime break.

Travel Goals for 2023

  1. Travel to one new country

If you have the means and you are looking to make some unforgettable memories, travelling to at least one new country in 2023 is something you have to do. We never regret seeing new places and meeting new people, and one of the best ways to do this is to add a new country to your 2023 travel goal list.

  1. Travel local

Although the idea of heading off to a whole new country is very tempting, in 2023 more people are enjoying the opportunity to travel locally and to once again explore some of the places that are closer to home. Not only is this great for a holiday, but it allows you to get more involved with your local economy.

  1. Travel on your own

A solo holiday can be very empowering and it can also give you a chance to enjoy the time on you own and to do some thinking and some introspection. Solo holidays can be just as much fun as other adventures and it will give you an experience like no other.

  1. Travel unplugged

In 2023, you should try to have the sort of holiday that allows you to disconnect and really just get away from it all. Having an unplugged holiday means you can turn off your phone and give yourself the chance to recharge. If you disconnect from everything, you will also give yourself the chance to really live in the moment and take it all in.

  1. Travel deep into nature

Kruger Park safaris and hiking holidays are definitely on the travel goal list of 2023, mostly because they give people the chance to go out into nature and really see and experience the beauty of this world of ours. If there is one thing that you do this year, book a holiday that will take you outdoors.
