What to expect
This Private Kruger Safari is ideal for Family Groups, with children younger than 8 years, groups of Photographers, or special interest groups, such as Bird Watchers.
Our 4×4 open Kruger Park safari vehicles are specially equipped for game drives. Although our vehicles have canvas roofs offering protection from the sun, we still advise that you wear a hat and sunscreen during the summer, and pack a warm jacket if you are travelling during the winter. You should also bring along some comfy shoes. We always have bottled mineral water in our vehicles to quench your thirst. Each vehicle can seat up to 10 people comfortably, but you can also hire an entire vehicle for only a few people if you wish to experience a Private Kruger Safari.
A full day Kruger Park safari typically starts at 5:30 am and ends around 16:00 pm, but private Vehicle Kruger Safaris can be arranged according to the client’s exact time requirements. We can arrange for clients to be picked up from various hotels or lodges and, if desired, we will arrange accommodation in the Kruger National Park for the guests and drop them off at their accommodation after the safari has concluded.
It is recommended to start the safari as early as possible, as the early mornings are a great time of day for game viewing. Many of the wild animals have just started their search for food and water for the day, making wildlife sightings abundant. In the case of specialised groups, you can tell your guide what it is that you hope to see, and your guide will know just where to go. Otherwise, you can trust that your guide will take you to some of the best places the Kruger has to offer.
Breakfast and lunch packs can be arranged by your hotel or lodge and your guide will stop at a picnic spot of your choice or a rest camp for breakfast and lunch. Alternatively, you can request to visit a restaurant.

Full Day Safari
We collect our guests from their lodges or from a park gate, just as the sun starts to rise. We conduct our safaris in our custom-built open safari vehicles which have been designed to ensure maximum comfort and optimal game viewing.
We enter the Kruger National Park as soon as the gates open and we spend a couple of hours eagerly searching for lions, elephant herds, leopards, the endangered rhinoceros, and groups of buffalo. Along the way, we encounter an array of other fascinating animals and birds, including hornbills, eagles, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and the abundant antelope such as impala and kudu. Our guides boast years of invaluable experience when it comes to exploring the park.
Our guides love nothing more than to share their knowledge with guests and to make sure that you have the best safari experience possible. Please bring your sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months. Bottled mineral waters are included on all safaris.
Guides will stop at a rest camp or a picnic spot for breakfast and lunch. Most lodges offer breakfast packs as part of the accommodation, but at the lunch stop one can choose to eat at a restaurant or cafe while also grabbing a cup of coffee or a cup of tea. There is also a curio shop available for some quick shopping before you continue with your safari. Your guide will choose the best areas, depending on the time of the year, for the rest of the game drive.
Guides are limited to 10 hours a day in the park including the breakfast and lunch stop but there is ample time to explore vast areas of the Kruger.
After the safari, your guide will return you to your lodge.
