The Imbali Safari Lodge is one of the more exclusive and luxurious lodges to be found in the Kruger National Park. Each of the suites at this lodge have en-suite bathrooms and also their own private plunge pools.
The main lodge also has a public pool that will allow guests to cool off after a long and exciting day. Guests can relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Kruger Bushveld. The location of the lodge allows guests to experience animals taking a drink in the nearby watering hole. Guests are served delicious meals in a comfortable dining room with a large Jackalberry Tree that raises through the deck. All safaris are conducted within the concession of Mluwati.
Safaris in the Mluwati Concession are a relaxing and actually very private as only visitors of the concession are allowed to travel in the area. The Concession has focused on conservation in the Kruger National Park for over 100 years and has created a sanctuary for many different animal species.
Guests will enjoy morning and afternoon safaris which will allow them to experience the wonders of the Kruger National Park. Morning safaris will allow guests to experience the Kruger National Park under the light of the morning sun, allowing guests to spot some nocturnal animals that will be retiring after a night of foraging. Afternoon safaris will allow guests to see animals who are cooling off in the afternoon as well as some of the nocturnal animals that are coming out to forage.
Guests will be able to depart on a Guided Bush Walk adventure while staying at Imbali. Guides will take guests on an on foot tour through the concession, allowing guests to be up close with their surroundings experiencing nature better. Guides will make plenty of stops to show guests interesting things and to provide unique information.
Guests who have come to the Lodge with their own vehicle will have the opportunity to set out on a self drive safari and explore the Park at their own leisure. Guests can make their own adventure and explore the park, making unique memories of their own.
The restaurant at Imbali provides a truly unique experience as its location is next to the pool and provides a lot of open views to the beautiful surroundings. The Décor inside the restaurant is very traditional and beautiful with the thatched roof, earthy tones and the Jackalberry tree that sprouts from the deck and acts as a support and decoration to the inside of the room. Guests can enjoy delicious platters and buffets both inside and outside, allowing guests to take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape while enjoying the delicious food.
