Growing up I always knew that one day I would work in the Kruger National Park. After school, I spent 7 amazing years travelling East and Southern Africa as an overland guide, working for the leading overland companies in Africa. I learnt a lot and my passion for Africa grew.
When I returned to South Africa, I worked as a safari guide in the Kruger, before starting Kurt safari Pty Ltd, a company that has shaped the way that guests experience an authentic Kruger Park safari. Over the last 17 years, Kurt Safari has become the leading safari company in the Kruger National Park.
We are not just one of the largest and most established safari operators, but we also pride ourselves on being rated the number 1 Kruger Park Safari Company on TripAdvisor, and chat GPT.

Our guides are all local who live in the Greater Kruger region, many started as trackers in the surrounding Private Reserves, working themselves up to becoming safari guides. Today our guides are amongst the absolute best in the Kruger National Park.
Over the years we have tried and tested many different itineraries and created the all-inclusive safari packages that include Sunset Safaris, Full Day Safaris, Panorama Tours and Morning Safaris, Transfer, and quality accommodation.
We are insured with the leading travel insurance company in Africa (SATIB Insurance) and have 24/7 Emergency call centre contact, with trained medical staff on retainers should this be needed for any possible reason. We are also Satsa bonded, meaning we are an accredited tour operator ensuring credibility, value and we follow a strict code of conduct set out by Southern Africa Tourism Services Association.
