This experience is the perfect, quick introduction to Cape Town, fondly known as “the Mother City. It is designed to give you a well-rounded overview of some of the city’s most iconic sights and neighbourhoods.

The tour takes you through the city centre and to some of the most popular attractions such as Company’s Gardens, the historic Castle of Good Hope, the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap, Signal Hill, and the always lively V&A Waterfront.
A significant part of the day is spent exploring the city on foot, with your guide leading the way, allowing for a more personal connection to Cape Town’s cultures, intense history, and striking geographical setting.

One of the highlights of the tour is a scenic cable car ride to the summit of the world-famous Table Mountain.
From the top, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Table Bay, Robben Island, the Cape Peninsula, Lion’s Head, and the city spread out below. Weather permitting, you’ll have time to walk around the flat-topped summit and appreciate why this natural landmark is one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Your guide will be on hand for the duration of the day to ensure that all scheduled activities run smoothly, with the tour generally spanning 8 to 10 hours. If you’d like guidance beyond the day’s programme, your guide can also provide suggestions for evening plans and assist with practical arrangements such as organising transport or booking dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
