Description

Boulders Lodge has a contemporary air of tranquillity that honours Africa in an authentic way. Inspiring the name Boulders was an enormous boulder that sat right in the middle of the place where the wine cellar was to be built. A simple decision was made to build the cellar around the boulder!

Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge, and the lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe wildlife drawn to the Sand River. The quiet pond alongside the thatched lounge area allows the light and the landscape inside to the wide open spaces, where straw baskets, neutral shades and textured fabrics complement wooden furniture.

Singita Boulders Lodge offers twelve suites, all with their own en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, private heated swimming pool, double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room mini safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck.

Gate and Closest Airport

By Air

We can arrange scheduled flights or private charters for your trip.
All flights land at Singita’s airstrip located 10 minutes from the lodge.
On scheduled flights, the weight of luggage is restricted to 20kg (44lb) for checked baggage and 5kg (11lb) for hand luggage. Only soft-sided luggage is permitted.
Johannesburg to Singita Sabi Sand: approximately 1 hour.
Nelspruit to Singita Sabi Sand: approximately 30 minutes.
Private aircraft pilots land at their own risk and are advised to broadcast their intentions on frequency 124,8 MHz. Please contact us for further information and to arrange landing.

By Road

From Johannesburg: approximately 6.5 hours’ drive (+/- 500km).
From Hazyview: approximately 1.75 hours’ drive (+/- 150km).

Cancellation Terms

Penalty of 25% of total reservation value if cancelled up to 61days prior to arrival
Penalty of 100% of total reservation value if cancelled 60 days orless prior to arrival

Child Policy

Children aged 10 years and older are welcome at Singita Boulders Lodge
Children aged 10-16 years will be accommodated at 50% of the adult rate when sharing a standard Suite with one adult or another child
A single child accommodated in their own suite will attract the full adult rate
In the interest of safety, participation of children in game activities is at the discretion of the guide
