Name
Transvaal Rock Gecko [Afroedura transvaalica]
Appearance
The Gecko is a white/cream gecko with yellow and brown marks on its back. It has a thick tail with brown marks with a fine yellow outline. The gecko only has four fingers on each leg.
Diet
The gecko will usually eat small insects but will often try and eat larger beetles and grasshoppers.
Distribution
They can be found mostly in Zimbabwe, but their has been some found in South Africa, northern Limpopo and north-west of Mozambique.
Breeding
The females lay only 1-2 eggs, it takes about 4-5 days for the eggs to settle.
