Warnings

By taking care of a few basic alerts, please ensure that your stay is secure and healthy. You’re going to share your stay with several fun and strange animals, but some of them may be threatening without knowledge.

If you  have no other choice than to walk at night, please ensure that you always carry a torch.

Climate

Kruger falls in the summer rainfall region. Typically, such weather is typical and can lead to intense downpours. The warmer months are humid and mostly balmy. Winter temperatures are hot and dry, but warm clothes is needed for tourists going on night-drives.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals are only approved for visitors with pre-booked reservations in some camps around 10 km of the applicable gate in cases of emergency (concrete evidence and clear explanation required) before 21:00. An additional late arrival charge that is collected at the gate would be assessed. At Pafuri, Phalaborwa or Phabeni Gates or every other gate for facilities more than 10 km apart, no resumption are permitted.
