Clients drive themselves to Umbhaba Eco Lodge in Hazyview, a small town known as the Gateway to Kruger National Park.
Upon arrival at the lodge there is time to relax in the pool, enjoy the large gardens and water features, and indulge in a drink at the bar. Clients stay in the lodge’s Superior Rooms, each with its own private balcony, and dinner is included.

The best time of the day to go into the Kruger is just before sunrise. We enter the park as the gates open, and after about 3 hours of exploring the park, and looking for wildlife, the guide will stop for breakfast. Delicious breakfast packs will be provided by the lodge. We then continue with the safari, exploring the Kruger’s various eco-zones, each with a different variety of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as the park’s vast plains and Bushveld regions.

We then safari in the direction of the lodge, arriving back at around 4 pm, with enough time to swim, relax and have dinner.

Heute brechen wir wieder vor Sonnenaufgang zu einer weiteren ganztägigen Krügerpark-Safari im offenen Fahrzeug auf. Das Spannende am Krügerpark ist, dass keine Safari der anderen gleicht und Sie immer etwas Neues sehen werden. Wir bevorzugen den frühen Start, weil unsere Gäste dann die Chance haben, alle möglichen Raubtiere zu sehen, wie Hyänen und Löwen, die morgens oft aktiver sind. Ihr Reiseleiter weiß je nach Jahreszeit am besten, welche Straßen Sie im Park nehmen sollten, damit Sie die bestmögliche Aussicht haben.
Wir fahren 3 Stunden lang und halten dann für ein erfrischendes Frühstück an. Nachdem wir uns die Beine vertreten haben, setzen wir die Safari bis zum Mittagessen fort. Dann besuchen wir ein Rastlager, wo es Restaurants und Geschäfte gibt, bevor wir langsam zur Lodge zurückfahren.

Clients flying out of OR Tambo International on the last day of their trip should please not book their flight any earlier than 20:00 pm for Domestic Flights and 21:00 pm for International Flights.
You’ll be dropped off at the airport or at a lodge within a 5km radius of the airport.
