Just outside Hazyview, Umbhaba Eco Lodge treats guests to a refined 4-star stay, surrounded by peaceful natural scenery. The rooms are sleek and contemporary, each fitted with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi to make your holiday effortlessly comfortable. We will travel directly to the lodge in Hazyview and arrive between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm. Guests will have time to relax, unpack and enjoy a light lunch, and there is also time to go for a swim or for a walk around the beautiful lodge or its walking trails.
We depart at around 16:00 pm for a Sunset/Night Safari in the Kruger National Park before returning to the lodge at approximately 19:30 or 20:00 pm for a scrumptious dinner, and a good night’s rest.

All safaris start before the sun rises, as the early morning hours is the best time for spotting wildlife, especially predators. We enter the gates not knowing what to expect and the guide will choose the best areas of the park to explore on this morning’s game drive. During this morning’s adventure, we will keep a look out for all sorts of animals, including the Big 5.
The lodge will arrange breakfast packs and after about 3 hours of driving, your guide will stop for breakfast and bathroom break, and there is also a chance to get a coffee. We then continue with the safari. The Kruger Park is home to a variety of eco zones, and each one has a different kind of wildlife to see. During the safari, we will visit rivers and watering holes as well as the vast open plains and the park’s Bushveld regions.
We then stop for lunch at a rest camp, where this meal will be on your account. While here there will be time to do some curio shopping or to indulge in a cold beer! The guide will then continue with the safari, as you make your way back towards the lodge. We arrive ba

Die letzte Safari und wieder verlassen wir die Lodge vor Sonnenaufgang, wir werden ein weiteres Frühstückspaket in einem der Rastlager oder Picknickplätze einnehmen. Der Guide wird sich auf die Tiere konzentrieren, die wir auf den ersten beiden Safaris nicht finden konnten und hofft auf Löwen und Leoparden, da diese am frühen Morgen am aktivsten sind. Der Krüger-Nationalpark hat 148 Säugetierarten und über 500 Vogelarten.
Nach einem kurzen Frühstück und einer Kaffeepause setzen wir die Safari fort und kehren gegen 11 Uhr zur Lodge zurück.
Hier verabschieden Sie sich von Ihrem Reiseleiter und machen sich frisch, bevor Sie zurück nach Johannesburg fahren. Die Kunden werden gegen 11:30 Uhr vom Shuttle abgeholt und wir kehren zwischen 17:00 und 18:00 Uhr zum Shuttle-Terminal von Johannesburg OR Tambo International und den Lodges im Umkreis von 5 km um den Flughafen zurück.

Clients flying out of OR Tambo International on the last day of their trip should please not book their flight any earlier than 20:00 pm for Domestic Flights and 21:00 pm for International Flights.
