Clients drive themselves to Umbhaba Eco Lodge in Hazyview, a small town known as the Gateway to Kruger National Park.
Upon arrival at the lodge there is time to relax in the pool, enjoy the large gardens and water features, and indulge in a drink at the bar. Clients stay in the lodge’s Superior Rooms, each with its own private balcony, and dinner is included.

The best time of the day to go into the Kruger is just before sunrise. We enter the park as the gates open, and after about 3 hours of exploring the park, and looking for wildlife, the guide will stop for breakfast. Delicious breakfast packs will be provided by the lodge. We then continue with the safari, exploring the Kruger’s various eco-zones, each with a different variety of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as the park’s vast plains and Bushveld regions.
Rond 12 uur stopt je gids voor de lunch bij een van de rustkampen. Je lunch is voor eigen rekening en terwijl je in het kamp bent, is er tijd om wat curiosa te kopen.
We then safari in the direction of the lodge, arriving back at around 4 pm, with enough time to swim, relax and have dinner.

Ook vandaag vertrekken we weer voor zonsopgang voor een dagsafari in een open voertuig door het Krugerpark. Het spannende aan het Krugerpark is dat geen enkele safari hetzelfde is en dat je altijd wel iets nieuws te zien krijgt. Wij geven de voorkeur aan een vroege start omdat onze gasten dan de kans hebben om allerlei roofdieren te zien, zoals hyena's en leeuwen, die 's ochtends vaak actiever zijn. Je gids heeft het beste idee, afhankelijk van de tijd van het jaar, over welke wegen je moet nemen in het park, zodat je het maximale kunt zien.
We rijden 3 uur en stoppen dan voor een verfrissend ontbijt. Na het strekken van de benen rijden we weer verder en gaan we op safari tot lunchtijd, wanneer we een rustkamp bezoeken waar restaurants en winkeltjes zijn om van te genieten, voordat we langzaam terugkeren naar de lodge.

Clients flying out of OR Tambo International on the last day of their trip should please not book their flight any earlier than 20:00 pm for Domestic Flights and 21:00 pm for International Flights.
You’ll be dropped off at the airport or at a lodge within a 5km radius of the airport.
