Clients drive themselves to Umbhaba Eco Lodge in Hazyview, a small town known as the Gateway to Kruger National Park.
Upon arrival at the lodge there is time to relax in the pool, enjoy the large gardens and water features, and indulge in a drink at the bar. Clients stay in the lodge’s Superior Rooms, each with its own private balcony, and dinner is included.

The best time of the day to go into the Kruger is just before sunrise. We enter the park as the gates open, and after about 3 hours of exploring the park, and looking for wildlife, the guide will stop for breakfast. Delicious breakfast packs will be provided by the lodge. We then continue with the safari, exploring the Kruger’s various eco-zones, each with a different variety of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as the park’s vast plains and Bushveld regions.

We then safari in the direction of the lodge, arriving back at around 4 pm, with enough time to swim, relax and have dinner.

Aujourd'hui, nous partons à nouveau avant le lever du soleil pour une nouvelle journée de safari dans le parc Kruger en véhicule ouvert. Ce qui est passionnant dans le Kruger, c'est qu'aucun safari n'est jamais le même, et que vous verrez toujours quelque chose de nouveau. Nous préférons les départs matinaux car ils permettent à nos clients de voir toutes sortes de prédateurs, comme les hyènes et les lions, qui sont souvent plus actifs le matin. Selon la période de l'année, votre guide saura vous indiquer les routes à emprunter dans le parc pour vous permettre d'observer au mieux les animaux.
Nous roulons pendant 3 heures, puis nous nous arrêtons pour prendre un petit déjeuner rafraîchissant. Après nous être dégourdis les jambes, nous reprenons le safari jusqu'à l'heure du déjeuner, où nous visiterons un camp de repos où il y aura des restaurants et des boutiques à apprécier, avant de rentrer tranquillement au lodge.

Clients flying out of OR Tambo International on the last day of their trip should please not book their flight any earlier than 20:00 pm for Domestic Flights and 21:00 pm for International Flights.
You’ll be dropped off at the airport or at a lodge within a 5km radius of the airport.
