Located in the Balule Nature Reserve, with no boundaries between it and the Kruger National Park, The Camp gives those who visit an authentic safari experience, complete with the opportunity of an almost guaranteed sighting the iconic Big 5 animals. On this 3-day trip, you’ll be staying in the rustic but utterly beautiful NDzuti Bush Camp, an oasis where wildlife often stops by the nearby waterhole for a morning or late afternoon drink. With golden-hour safaris, starry nights spent around the fire, and the sounds of the wild just beyond your tent, this tour will give you a wild experience without sacrificing comfort.

nDzuti Bush Camp is made up of 4 classic Meru-style tents, placed on smooth concrete base. Each of the tents opens onto a private deck, from which guests can gaze out over a waterhole, where the wildlife drifts to and from, as if on cue, unobstructed by fences.
Inside, twin beds dressed in crisp percale linen and warm duvets are a welcoming sight after a busy day in the bush, while the gentle glow of bedside lanterns and the rustle of canvas create that delicious “I’m really on safari” feeling. The tents have their own open-air a beautifully screened bathroom, with a hot shower, where you can wash off the day beneath birdsong and surrounded by the scent of the bush.
The transfers from Johannesburg are shared transfers, and once everyone is on board, we’ll make our way directly to the picturesque town of Hoedspruit, arriving at around midday.
Eenmaal ingecheckt in het kamp is er tijd om te ontspannen, je op te frissen en te genieten van een lichte lunch. Je kunt een duik nemen in het zwembad of wandelen over de rustige wandelpaden.
Later in de middag, rond 16.00 uur, gaan we op pad voor je eerste gamedrive, een zonsondergangsafari. Naarmate de dag vordert, wordt het wild actiever en dat creëert de perfecte omgeving voor sightings.
Wintergasten kunnen zich verheugen op langere schemerritten, terwijl zomersafari's worden verlicht met een zachte, warme gloed.
Tegen 20:00 uur keren we terug naar de lodge, waar een heerlijk diner en een rustgevende nacht op ons wachten.

We vertrekken op onze ochtendsafari onder de zachte tinten van het vroege ochtendgloren, het beste moment om roofdieren op jacht te zien en andere wilde dieren die hun eerste maaltijd van de dag nuttigen.
Bij elke safari waagt je gids zich in nieuwe gebieden van het park, gebieden die nog niet eerder zijn verkend, op zoek naar wilde dieren die we nog niet hebben gezien.
At around mid-morning, we will return to camp for a delicious late breakfast and the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can take a refreshing dip in the plunge pool, lounge under the shade of ancient trees with an enjoyable book, or stroll through the unfenced camp grounds.
A light lunch will be served, fuelling you for the next half of your day.
By 3 pm, it’s time to climb back into the safari vehicle for an afternoon and evening game drive.
Als de zon langzaam ondergaat, verandert de bush in goudkleurig licht en komt het wild weer uit zijn schaduwrijke schuilplaatsen tevoorschijn, waardoor dit een van de beste momenten van de dag is voor een safari.
Als je in de winter reist, gaat je safari dieper de schemering in, terwijl je bij zomersafari's meer daglicht en dromerige pastelkleurenhemels hebt.
Tegen de tijd dat je rond 20:00 uur terugkeert naar het kamp, knettert het vuur, is het avondeten klaar en herinneren de sterren je eraan dat je ver weg bent van de rest van de wereld.

Als de laatste ochtend van uw safari aanbreekt, gaan we nog een laatste keer op gamedrive in de vroege ochtend.
Deze laatste gamedrive is een moment om na te denken over de waarnemingen, de geluiden en de opwinding van je safari, maar met één oog nog steeds gericht op het bushveld in de hoop een glimp op te vangen van het dier dat je hoopte te zien, maar nog niet bent tegengekomen.
Met hun schat aan ervaring en scherpe instincten zullen uw gidsen er alles aan doen om uw afsluitende safari net zo onvergetelijk te maken als uw eerste.
Na terugkomst in het kamp wacht je een warm ontbijt. Er is tijd om je op te frissen, je spullen bij elkaar te zoeken en afscheid te nemen van je gids en dit speciale deel van Afrika dat de afgelopen dagen je thuis is geweest.
Van hieruit word je naar Hoedspruit gebracht voor de terugreis naar Johannesburg.
