One of the park\u2019s most strictly enforced rules is that ordinary visitors must return to a rest camp or leave the park by sunset.<\/p>\n

Only accredited safari operators working under a SANParks permit may continue driving for a few hours after dark. Guides use spotlights from open safari vehicles to search the bush for nocturnal wildlife.<\/p>\n

A Kruger night drive is not simply an extension of the day\u2019s safari.<\/p>\n

It is a separate game drive that may provide sightings you would rarely encounter during the day. It can also feel more exclusive because very few other vehicles are on the road.<\/p>\n
