Groot Constantia Manor & Cloete Cellar Tour
Groot Constantia – We start off our tour at the oldest wine product farm in South Africa. We visit the
Cape Dutch Manor House and the famous Cloete Cellar. We will also visit the wine
and cultural history museums where we will be embraced by South African Art and
wine tasting as well as a wine and chocolate pairing experience.
Constantia Uitsig – We carry on to a farm stretching its roots as far back as 1685, where we explore the new Heritage Market, the wine shop, the bike park and finally the Open Door
Restaurant where we have our lunch.
Steenberg Estate – We end off our tour of Constantia at a state of the art cellar, which was completed in 1996. The cellar also boasts a unique vinotheque with the capacity to produce an
estimate of 70 000 cases. We indulge in our last wine tasting before traveling via the
Ou Kaapse Weg back to the city.
