The 2nd day of those 4 day Kruger Park safari begins well before the sun rises. We head out in open safari vehicles and we enter the park in one of the area’s best known for spotting an abundance of wildlife. In the company of a knowledgeable guide, we visit lookout points, rivers and various water holes.
Breakfast is a pre-pack meal, prepared by the Bushpackers. We’ll stop at a local rest camp in the morning to relax for a bit and enjoy this breakfast. After we’ve finished the meal, the safari continues and we keep a look out for the Big 5 and for the numerous other animals, reptiles and birds that live in the area. At lunchtime, we stop again at another rest camp and choose a meal from the camp’s menu.
In the late afternoon, at around 4 pm, we return to the Bushpackers for some downtime and a swim before dinner. We encourage an early night as the next morning will be off to an early start.
On this morning, we are up early once more and we set off before the sun has risen. In the company of the same ranger as on the last 2 days, we head off to a different area of the Kruger National Park in the hope of spotting any animals we might have missed before.
We will visit various water holes, lookout points, rivers, and have our pre-packed breakfast at a local picnic venue. After that, we will visit bird hides and look for the mighty Big 5 again.
As with the days before, we stop for a packed breakfast and a bought lunch, at the rest camp of the guides choosing. At about 4 pm, we leave the Kruger and go back to the Bushpackers to enjoy a swim and some downtime before dinner and an early night.
On the last day of this 4 day Kruger Park safari, we leave the Bushpackers and bring your luggage along.
