The monitor can grow up to 2 meters in length.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They mainly eat beetles, land snails, millipedes and grasshoppers.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The White-throated Monitor can be found in the savanna and the semi-desert districts of the country, they are not in the Western Cape.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Breeding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They lay between 8 and 51 eggs in the summer depending on the size of the female.
