The Nest Hotel is located directly on Lüderitz Bay, at the southernmost point of Lüderitz’s tiny coastal town. It was skillfully constructed on the rugged ground that lines the Atlantic Ocean’s beaches, and it provides plenty of warmth, quiet, and solitude.

Description

The Penguin Restaurant serves excellent cuisine and seafood specialties, while the Crayfish Bar, located just off the lobby, is small but elegant and comfortable. A crystal blue swimming pool can be found in the courtyard backyard, and the rooms feature spacious en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, a tea and coffee station, and free WiFi. Every convenience has been considered, and the hotel takes pride in offering excellent service. A Children’s Play Area is also available outside.

Special Features

The Nest Hotel has its own private tidal beach and walk-on jetty, which is located directly underneath lush green lawns and a large outdoor deck. Every room has a balcony and every Twin Room has a clear sea view.

• Halifax Island Catamaran Tour: Can be pre-booked at the Hotel Reception.
• Kolmanskop Ghost Town Attraction (1909) Daily guided tours: Weekdays: 9.30 – 11.00 am Sundays: 10.00 am (Entrance fee payable at the gate)
• Self-Drive Peninsula Tour – Diaz Cross (1488): Normal sedan (own route) or 4×4 vehicle (own route). To fully appreciate the peninsula, aim for a 3-4 hour tour.

• Only Children 0 – 12 years may share a Family Room with 2 Adults, FOC
• Children 13 and over pay the Full Adult Rate
• Children of all ages in their own room (not sharing with an Adult) pay the Full Adult Rate
