Possiede una piccola finestra sopra gli occhi che deriva dalla palpebra inferiore. Ha anche aperture auricolari lobate. La colorazione di queste lucertole varia a seconda della sottospecie.<\/p>\n<h2>Dieta<\/h2>\n<p>La lucertola si nutre di insetti pi\u00f9 piccoli come coleotteri, falene e altri invertebrati.<\/p>\n<h2>Distribuzione<\/h2>\n<p>La lucertola striata vive comunemente nell'Africa orientale, nella regione del Transkei meridionale, nel Capo Orientale-settentrionale e verso ovest fino allo Zambia e all'Angola.<\/p>\n<h2>Allevamento<\/h2>\n<p>Le femmine partoriscono da 3 a 6 cuccioli all'anno invece di deporre uova.
