We collect our clients from various lodges in and within a 5 km radius of Hazyview. Clients who are travelling from further away can meet the safari vehicle at the well-known Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre, or at Numbi or Phabeni Gate.
Our afternoon safari drives concentrate on finding plains game like Zebra, Giraffe and even the majestic Elephant, and as the afternoon cools down there is always the chance of seeing predators like lion and leopard, as they are more active during dawn and dusk.

Anche se la fauna selvatica tende a riposare nel caldo di mezzogiorno, il vantaggio di un safari pomeridiano è che le nostre guide avranno informazioni su avvistamenti precedenti and where they took place. With this information on hand, we set off to these areas in the hopes of bringing you the most exciting wildlife sightings. We frequent watering holes, which are popular sighting areas in the hot afternoon, as animals come for a drink or to play in the water. There is nothing more pleasing than watching elephants splashing playfully in a river on a hot afternoon.
As the day grows longer and as it gets closer to closing time in the Park, the better the chances of sightings become, as the animals become more active as the heat dissipates.
Since afternoon Kruger Park safaris are often so hot, even during the winter months, we advise you to please bring along sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes. If you are planning a safari during winter, bring some warm clothing for the evenings and if you are travelling in summer, pack your rain jacket. Le acque minerali sono incluse in tutti i safari.

The safari begins when we collect clients from their lodges in or around Hazyview. Clients who are arriving from further away are collected from the beautiful Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre in the middle of Hazyview. Clients also have the convenient option of meeting their guide at either Numbi or Phabeni Gate.
During an afternoon game drive, we look for some of the Park’s plains game, such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Kudu and even Elephant. Predators are not often spotted in the early afternoon but can sometimes be seen later as the day turns cooler and dusky.
We will leave the lodge at 13:30 pm and enter the Kruger National Park through one of two nearby gates. Your guide will take you to watering holes and lookout points, where you will have the best vantage point for seeing wildlife. Guests often see all sorts of animals near watering holes and rivers, as the wildlife seeks a place to cool off from the hot afternoon sun. Your guide will make regular rest stops throughout your afternoon Kruger Park Safari so that you and your fellow guests have time to stretch.
The tour will conclude before the park closes at around 18:00 – 18:30 pm (depending on the season). The guide will drop off guests at their lodge or at Perry’s Bridge, with enough time for guests to have a satisfying and memorable ending to their beautiful safari pomeridiano nel Parco Nazionale Kruger.
