Juveniles tend to have bright markings on their body. The snake is not venomous but it can inflict a nasty bit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the wild a mole snake will hunt for rodents such as mice and moles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mole snakes can be found in the Highvel plateau and grasslands and in the shrubbery of the South African Cape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breeding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mole Snake give live birth to about 25-50 young.
