It has a thick tail with brown marks with a fine yellow outline. The gecko only has four fingers on each leg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The gecko will usually eat small insects but will often try and eat larger beetles and grasshoppers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They can be found mostly in Zimbabwe, but their has been some found in South Africa, northern Limpopo and north-west of Mozambique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breeding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The females lay only 1-2 eggs, it takes about 4-5 days for the eggs to settle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transvaal Rock Gecko Name Transvaal Rock Gecko [Afroedura transvaalica] Appearance The Gecko is a white\/cream gecko with yellow and brown marks on its back.
