Bo-Kaap – The tour begins with a visit to the charming and historic area that was the home to many Muslims and where many slaves had been freed. Here you will get a taste of the rich diversity of South African culture, lifestyle and personality.
Zonnebloem (AKA District Six) – Here you will get the opportunity to visit the famous living museum which was established in December 1994 as a memorial to those who were forcibly removed from their homes during the Apartheid era.
Cape Flats – Visit the Gugu S’Thermbe Arts and Culture Centre in the Langa Township and be embraced by the vibrancy and colour of the country. The centre is dedicated to the empowerment of the local people with the exploration of the native arts and cultural talents.
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront departure to Robben Island – Enjoy a guided coach tour of the island as well as a tour of the maximum security prison, where former president, Nelson Mandela, was incarcerated.
The tour concludes with a drop off at your stipulated hotel.
