Robben Island – The trip begins on a ferry to the place of Nelson Mandela’s imprisonment of 27 years
– Robben Island. Today the island is a world heritage site and museum open to the
public. Here you will hop on a bus and explore both the island and prison.
Bo-Kaap – Upon returning to the mainland, we will meander through the Bo-Kaap, exploring
the history of the Malay slaves and how it influenced the culture of the area today.
Company Gardens – We will then enjoy a nice stroll through the beautiful gardens of the inner city. The gardens are home to a variety of plant life and critters, beautiful views and powerful
monuments.
Slave Lodge – Upon entering the Slave Lodge, we will gain knowledge on the experiences of the
unwilling immigrants and how they contributed to the diversity and richness of the
Cape Culture.
Table Mountain Cable Car – Enjoy the panoramic views over Cape Town and the Atlantic Seaboard.
