What to expect

This 4-day luxury journey is designed for clients with limited time and is jam-packed with the most popular tours in Victoria Falls, as well as a safari trip to Chobe National Park.

The Victoria Falls is the only waterfall listed on the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and a highlight of this trip is a guided tour of the rainforest. Locally known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the smoke that thunders), Victoria Falls is the largest curtain of falling water in the world!

Day 1: Arrival – Victoria Falls

On arrival at Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel
overlooking a protected national reserve, while being minutes away from the Falls.
This evening you will enjoy a leisurely sunset cruise enjoying the sights and sounds of the
wildlife in and around the river, while raising your glass of sparkling wine to honour the
spectacular Africa sunset.
Transfer back to your hotel for the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Vic Falls Activities

An early start to the day will reward you with a jam-packed schedule of activities. Start the day
with an included Heli Flip, which gives you an awe-inspiring viewpoint of the Falls.
You can then enjoy endless optional activities; of which the most popular are;

Later this afternoon, you will enjoy an included guided tour of the Victoria Falls rainforest.
The sounds and smells of this awesome experience will remain in your heart forever. The
magnificence of the Falls makes way for humility to be in nature’s masterpiece. There is no
picture able to capture the impact and reality of the Falls, which reaches its Zenith in about May
each year.

Your guide will give you a brief history of the rainforest, take you to the places of interest, as
well as a photo-stop at the famous Big Tree.
Raincoats are provided if needed.
You will be transferred back to your hotel for the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Chobe Day Trip

Today you will be taken across the border to Chobe Game Reserve, for a full day’s game

This morning you will be taken on a full day trip to enjoy a morning river cruise and afternoon
game drive inside the Chobe National Park. Lunch is included.
Please note that you will be crossing the border to and from Botswana, please have your
passport ready. Once across the border, you will board a boat for the morning game cruise
along the Chobe River. The cruise will end at around 12h30 followed by lunch at a hotel on the
riverbank. After lunch, board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National

Chobe National Park is world renown for their elephant population, in the dry season an
estimate of up to 85,000 elephants can be grazing within the Chobe National Park, most of
whom can be found along the river. Apart from the herds of elephants, Chobe teems with lion,
leopard, buffalo and a whole host of antelope like sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan and many
others which you can get to see. The river is home to pods of hippos and some of the biggest
crocodiles in Africa.
Late this afternoon you will be transferred back to your lodge for overnight.

Day 4:  Departure

Your day starts with breakfast at your hotel, hop on the courtesy shuttle and visit to the local
markets by foot. Hopefully you will spot that “special something” for loved ones back home,
eagerly awaiting your pictures and passionate experiences about your time in Africa.
Your transfer is to either Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport, and we wish you safe
travels homeward.

On-site waterhole which attracts a variety of wildlife including elephant, buffalo, kudu,
waterbuck, impala and many bird species – Panoramic views over the Zambezi National Park –
Dining with a view at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant – World-renowned Buffalo Bar, with superb
views over the lodge’s waterhole – In the construction of Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, the estate
was the first tourism construction project in Zimbabwe to use an environmental architect
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is built of thatch and timber and rises several levels, giving the
impression of a vast open-plan tree house, with all 72 rooms, facing out towards the Zambezi
National Park. All rooms have sliding glass doors opening onto a private balcony.
